Here is 2 minutes of Shiloh playing peek-a-boo with Mommy in the living room. If you listen closely, you can hear the roar of Daddy snoring while he's sitting on the couch behind Shiloh.
This is awesome video, Missy! Thanks for letting us see that beautiful girl in action! She is so steady walking and playing peekaboo for such a little peanut!
Ok-next observation - this was posted at 5:13 in the am???! -- where's the video that goes along with that?:)jk luv ya
Wow - you have such a beautiful family. I will be praying for you and Jeff as you start a new chapter of your life together. What a beautiful blessing! ....and I will say extra prayers for you as you deal with the hormones of SEVEN children - that is AWQESOME!!!!!
This is my mom, my sister, my nephew and my great-niece.
Beautiful bouquet
Here is my bouquet and what turns out to be my maid of honor's bouquet (I thought it was my daughter, Bethany's, when I brought it home. Oops!) together on my dining room table.
Cutie Pie
Here's a quick snapshot of Shiloh with her "cheese" smile.
Beautiful
My friend and bridesmaid, Christy, handed Shiloh her flowers and quickly snapped this photo. I just love it!
who? who?
This visitor was in our lane/driveway one night when we were driving in. I got out of the car and Jeff slowly moved the car toward him/her so that I could get a photo. We have wildlife all around us here in the country, but I have never seen an owl before. I fully expected a coyote to come running out of the cornfield and grab it while I was trying to get it's picture!
First day of school: 1st grade.
Here's Hannah with her teacher for this year, Mrs. Surratt.
First day of school: 2nd grade.
Here is Isaac with his teacher for this year, Mrs. Hess. (Isn't he excited mom is there to take this picture!?)
Lil' Miss Chapins 2008 and 2009.
Hannah was excited to pass on her Lil' Miss Chapin title to her best friend, Nicole. We were so proud that she won! There were lots of cuties to pick from.
Sisters
Bethany (15) and Hannah (6) Both are so beautiful!
Here comes the bride.
He is partially cropped out of the photo, but this is me with my brother, Wayne, who I am so thankful for. Literally 5 minutes before my wedding, I was in the back crying because I missed my Dad and felt so deeply that I needed him with me at that moment of going down the aisle. I got a message to Wayne and he gladly agreed with a tearful hug. The Lord provides for us when we feel weak and in my weak moment my brother stepped up and made me smile. : ) I had made an extra boutinerre (for him but I didn't know it at the time), also, in case I had forgotten to count anyone.
I am a Christian woman who has 3 children and 4 step-children, which is a term I rarely use. We are a family. As tough as it is to blend two families together, I consider them all "our children". The last three years of my life have changed me dramatically. In the last three years, I went thru a long, difficult, bitter, hostile, as bad as it can get divorce; moved twice, said a final goodbye to my Daddy before he left for heaven; fell in love with a truly loving, caring, kind, sweet, honest, and best of all, faithful man; had a baby at age 39; and quit my job of 15 1/2 years to be a fulltime homemaker. I have a quirky sense of humor and I love my family with all my heart. I hope you'll stop in here from time to time to check out my posts, photos and just to leave a comment....even if it's "hey, get a grip, lady!" :) Welcome to my blog......this is where I will journal my journey. I pray that if not everytime, but at least part of the time, you may leave here with a blessing, a giggle, a smile or a tear in your eye. I know I will.
